The bronze statue called 'Fiddler in the wind' created by the artist Avi Kenan in 2003, weighing approximately 1500 kilos will be placed on a pillar of bluestone. The statue will be placed in Antwerp Zoo (Belgium), which recieves more than one million paying visitors each year, near the enclosure of the buffalos.
We are currently looking for people or companies who are interested in
sponsoring. Only 12 sponsors will have the opportunity to participate in this unique project. A
plaque of bronze with the names of the 12 sponsors will be installed in front of the statue,
close to the public.
For the unveiling of this statue invitations will be sent to the
Royal family as well as to
VIP- and press relations.
Every sponsor will receive
paintings or statues from the artist for an amount equivalent to the sponsoring. There will be an
art exhibition in the magnificent 'Marble Hall' located in the zoo of Antwerp. Every sponsor will have a stand to
represent his or her company. The exhibition will be there for one week, and is expected to draw
lots of visitors and media attention.
The sponsor will recieve an invoice which is tax reductable.
